William Jewell Tuition Information
Tuition bills are generated each semester and are based on the number of credits you are taking.
The standard cost per credit at William Jewell College for the Fall 2025 semester is $150/credit, which is a discounted rate due to the pending Master's program accreditation. The typical cost per credit is $493.
While every student’s financial information is unique, there is a general framework that exists for every William Jewell College student enrolled in the Breathe For Change Partnership.
William Jewell College and Breathe For Change will honor the program cost that was agreed upon with the student at the time of deposit.
In some instances, the total cost to the student may decrease when tuition billing is transitioned to William Jewell, and would only increase in the case of course enrollments outside of the standard pathway that was agreed upon at time of deposit. Examples include: student does not meet course requirements and must retake the course, student elects to enroll in non-required electives, student drops a course after the add/drop course date and is charged a partial tuition amount for the semester, etc.).
William Jewell Student Financial Services will create a tuition invoice for the full cost of any courses that the student is enrolled in for that semester.
- To honor the full program cost that was agreed upon with the student, Breathe For Change may cover some portion of the invoice for that semester. The remainder of the invoice is to be covered by the student, who will work directly with William Jewell Student Financial Services to arrange payment.
- The portion of tuition that Breathe For Change will cover is based on the following factors:
- The agreed upon program cost at time of deposit
- How much the student already paid to Breathe For Change
- Any adjustments to tuition agreed upon between Breathe For Change and the student
- The number of credits that will be earned in subsequent semesters
- Breathe For Change will work with William Jewell College to determine how much of the tuition Breathe For Change will be covering for that semester.
Note that any credits earned from William Jewell College courses prior to HLC accreditation ARE accredited, and will appear on your official William Jewell transcript. These credits will be applied towards your degree upon pending HLC accreditation.
