Can I register with the Yoga Alliance (YA) upon completion of the Transformative TEACHing and Leadership Training?

In order to register with Yoga Alliance as a 500-hour yoga teacher, both your 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings must be completed through a YA Registered Yoga School (RYS), such as Breathe For Change.

Once you complete all requirements of the Transformational TEACHing and Leadership Training and earn your certificate, you will be able to register through the Yoga Alliance for your RYT-500 designation if this feels like the right choice for you.

Registering with YA is a separate membership process and is not included in the cost of your Breathe For Change training.

• at least 1,000 hours of yoga teaching experience since completing training with a RYS 200

• RYT 500 Membership with Yoga Alliance

• at least 2,000 hours of yoga teaching experience since completing training with a RYS 200 (at least 500 of these hours must be completed AFTER 300-hour certification)
• at least four years of yoga teaching experience since completing training with a RYS 200
• E-RYT 500 Membership with Yoga Alliance
