William Jewell Optional 300-hour Certification (Spring-Summer 2026)

Students enrolled in William Jewell courses in Spring-Summer 2026 had the option to complete additional coursework to earn their 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher credential. This coursework is in the Breathe For Change Educator Collective (Mighty Networks) platform.

300-hour Certification Course Requirements

To earn the Breathe For Change 300-hour Transformative TEACHing & Leadership Certification, you must have completed the following William Jewell courses as part of your degree:

  • Trauma-Informed Teaching 
  • Emotional Intelligence and Belonging 
  • Accessible and Differentiated Instruction 
  • Chair Yoga for Educators and Students 
  • Mental Health in Schools 

In addition, you must complete the following content in the Breathe for Change Educator Collective (Mighty Networks) platform by August 15, 2027:

  • Yoga Philosophy
  • Sequencing
  • Restorative Yoga

Breathe for Change will remain a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS) through early fall 2027. Graduates of this 300-hour program who also have an eligible 200-hour certification will be able to register through Yoga Alliance as a 500-hour yoga teacher (RYT 500).
