Breathe for Change Certificate Issuance Schedule

Breathe for Change certificate programs are issued three times per year at dates aligned with the academic calendar and program completion timelines.

Certificate Issuance Dates

Certificates are distributed on the following schedule each year:

  • Early January (after winter break): between William Jewell's fall and spring semesters

  • May-June: after the spring semester's courses and training programs end 

  • Early August: between William Jewell's summer and fall semesters

In order to be eligible to receive your certificate, you must have all requirements complete by the Friday prior to the certificate issuing week.

What requirements do I need to complete in order to receive my certificate based on the schedule above?

I've completed all of my requirements in between the issuance dates listed above. What do I do? 

If you complete your certification requirements in between issuance dates, you will receive your certificate during the next scheduled distribution. There is no action you need to take. 

How will I receive my certificate? 

Certificates are sent via email from . Sometimes emails are auto-filtered to spam or junk folders. Please check all of your folders if you don’t see an email in your inbox during the certification issue week.

Will my degree transcripts be sent along with my certificates? 

All degree-related credentialing, including transcripts, are handled through the accrediting partner. Key requirements for your degree credentials may differ slightly from the requirements for your Breathe for Change certification. Review the closing unit of your program curriculum for details.

What is the cutoff date for completing certificate requirements?
