Woolf Degree and Certificate Programs Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of prior learning with Woolf allows students to receive course exemptions based on previously completed Breathe For Change training. You will be eligible for prior learning recognition once your training coursework is confirmed and your certification is issued.

Recognition of Prior Learning with Woolf

When your prior training content is confirmed complete, Woolf will process exemptions on your transcript. It can take up to two months after your training certification is issued for associated exemptions to be applied.

You can view your exemptions, degree progress, and transcript in Woolf’s Accreditation Management System (AMS) by signing in to Canvas and clicking on the “W” icon in the left side menu.

Recognition of Prior Learning: Module 1 Mindfulness, SEL, & Yoga Teacher Training

To recognize completion of this training, students are fully exempted from one course: Teaching Social-Emotional Learning, Mindfulness and Yoga (30 ECTS).


Expedited Learning: Module 2 Transformative TEACHing & Leadership Training

To recognize completion of this training, students are partially exempted from the following courses. In each course, students only need to complete 2 peer-reviewed article quizzes and 1 summative assignment to earn a “pass” grade. Exemptions will be applied for one “regular” assignment, live meetings, and most of your workload (participation) hours.
