Woolf Credit Transfer Overview
Students who previously completed coursework through Woolf may be eligible to transfer credits into the William Jewell College MSEd. in Transformative Teaching and Learning degree.
Whether your credits can transfer directly via transcript or require completion of Training Recognition Credits (TRCs) depends on how your coursework appears on your Woolf transcript.
This article explains how to determine which pathway applies to you and what steps to take next.
Transcript Grade Options
Option 1: Transcripts with Standard (Numeric) Grades (Credit Transfer via Transcripts)
If you onboarded with Woolf and completed standard coursework hosted in Canvas, your Woolf transcript will include standard, numeric grades for your courses.
⚠️ Important Deadline: Access to Woolf courses hosted in Canvas will be available through June 21, 2026.
If you have not yet completed your Canvas coursework, be sure to do so by June 21, 2026 in order to remain eligible for credit transfer via your Woolf transcript.
Option 2: Transcripts with "Pass/Fail" Grade (TRCs Required)
If your Woolf transcript shows “Pass” instead of a standard grade, you will need to complete Training Recognition Credits (TRCs) through William Jewell College.
This applies if you:
-
Were exempted from Module 1 coursework, or
-
Completed expedited learning for Module 2 coursework
Courses listed as Pass/Fail cannot transfer directly for graded credit. Instead, William Jewell College will award credit through TRC courses, which recognize your prior learning without requiring you to repeat training.
Details about how TRCs work can be found here: William Jewell College Training Recognition Credits (TRCs).
