What are the certification requirements for the Master's Program?

To earn the master's degree, you will need to:

  • Complete Modules 1, 2, and 3 of the program within 5 years 
  • Pay your tuition balance in full

Module 1 - Mindfulness, SEL, and Yoga Teacher Training

Module 1 includes the following content areas, and is completed through either our intensive summer semester (~2 months) or one of our school year models (~6 months).

  • Teaching Inclusive Yoga
  • Mindfulness & Meditation in Education
  • Social-Emotional Learning and Facilitation
  • Transforming Education from Within
  • The Philosophy of Mindful Education
  • *Receive a passing grade your asana finale and wellness workshop lesson plan

Module 2 - Transformative TEACHing and Leadership Training

Module 2 includes 9 courses, which are designed to be completed with a cohort of students over a period of about 9 months.

  • Trauma-Informed Teaching
  • Equitable Teaching
  • Accessible Teaching
  • Community-Based Teaching
  • Healing-Centered Teaching
  • Teaching Chair Yoga
  • Teaching Restorative Practices
  • Teaching Yoga – Advanced
  • Yoga Philosophy & Social Change

Module 3 - Practicum: Your Leadership in Action

Module 3 is a 2-semester program (spring+fall, summer+fall, or fall+spring). It includes two courses which guide students through the following steps.

  • Design your Initiative: Design a plan to enhance well-being in your school or community
  • Implement your Initiative: Implement your well-being initiative in your school or community
  • Document your Impact: Document the impact of your well-being initiative on your community

Once all three modules are complete and your tuition is paid, you will have the opportunity to 

request your official transcript from Woolf. 


If you reside in the United States, you will need to get your European degree or certificate verified by a Foreign Credential Evaluation Service recognized by your district (we recommend ECE or FIS.) The Evaluation Service will send confirmation to your district of its U.S. equivalency, and you will begin to receive the benefits.
