What technical requirements will I need to use Zoom?

Zoom is the videoconferencing platform that we utilize for all of our live sessions.

Zoom System Requirements

  • An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE). 
  • Minimum bandwidth is 600kbps (up/down) and recommended is 1.5 Mbps (up/down).
  • Check your Internet bandwidth using Speedtest 
  • A microphone – built-in to your computer or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth.
  • A webcam - one which is built-in to your computer or one that connects to your computer via USB.

If your device of choice is a Chromebook, you will need to use the Zoom progressive web application (PWA) for Chrome OS to access Zoom calls!
